Hi, I'm Russell 👋🏻

I work with language as a system. For the last 20+ years, I’ve shaped brand narratives and product experiences across tech, culture and commerce – at R/GA, at Fin, and on my own.

Outside of client work, I write. My first book, Redface, is about learning to live with social anxiety. I co-wrote Teddy Bears Picnic, a horror short nominee at the Nightmares Film Festival. I’ve had comic books published and scripts performed. Craft, in other words, isn’t simply what I sell. It’s what I do for its own sake and for the love of good storytelling.
